16 items of tackle you must buy this month

New gadgets and gizmos to spend this month’s rent/mortgage on

1. Bait-Tech Super CSL Liquid

We might have only just entered into ‘stack-‘em-up-like-breezeblocks’ stage of the year, but just to ensure your freebies/hookbait gets the most amount of attention, give them a good soaking in one of these new liquids from our Suffolk friends. Specially designed as a do-it-all liquid, this sweet, flavour-packed, vitamin-rich food source is ideal for mixing groundbaits and Method mixes to being used as a soak or booster for all other bait items (think: spod mixes, pellets) where extra attraction is required. 2. Taska All Season Putty

Taska know what it takes to create a perfect product – the Baseline Tungsten range, Deceptive, Evolve… And this month adding to their impressive list of terminal tackle is their Baseline Tungsten All Season Putty. Optimum density means you don’t need a lot; the putty’s adhesive properties ensure it stays in place on the cast and during use; the inherent elasticity makes it easy to mould and it comes in a stunning Silty Black colour. “GIMME”: £4.99; taskacarp.com

3. Mainline Dissolvas Essential Cell

What’s not to love about Mainline’s clever Dissolvas? They’re a living, breathing, pumping-out-more-attraction-than-any-other-hookbait, hookbait. These 18mm, water-soluble beauts take approximately 4-6hrs to dissolve, giving the ‘attractor hookbait’ a totally new edge. And brilliantly, this month, Mainline have added Essential Cell to the flavour options. “GIMME”: £6.75; mainline-baits.com
