Andre's Multi Rig Set-Up
And for his pop-up presentations, André favours a Multi Rig and here’s how he ties his version...
What you need:
Coated Hooklink Combo Camo 25lb
Chod Hook
Silicone Tubing
Hookbait Swivel
Tungsten Putty
1. Start by cutting out a long length of Coated Hooklink material.
2. Now tie a large Overhand Loop knot at one end as André has here.
3. Take your Chod hook and pass the loop through the front of the hook.
4. Add a Hookbait Swivel onto the loop and a piece of silicone to the link.
5. Pass the loop over the hook and slide the silicone over the hook eye.
6. Split the outer coating just below the knot—this is for your counter-balance.
7. Warm some tungsten putty between your fingers and then mould it on.
8. To straighten the hooklink out, hold it over a steaming kettle like so.
9. André’s finished Multi Rig, complete with an Anti-Tangle Sleeve.
