CC Moore Live System Range

One of the most enduring winter baits for more than a decade, just why does the Live System range continue to catch carp all year round?

Coldwater carping can be all about snatching a few hours, or making the most of a weekend, when conditions look just right. In that opportunist situation you’ll be looking for an ‘instant’ boilie that hasn’t required months of pre-baiting to turn the carp’s heads. CC Moore’s Live System is just such a bait.

When anglers such as Kev Hewitt and Mark Pitchers rely on Live System at this time of year you know it’s got pedigree. While other baits have come and gone, this one has stayed the course.

These boilies have a yeasty, marzipan-like aroma that just smells perfect for the colder months, and being based on birdfood and milk proteins, they’ve got that all-important digestibility factor. The boilies’ soft texture also lends itself to creating a mushy spod mix and feeding broken baits with ease.

Another part of the Live System’s attraction is its ability to complement other baits. Its light, sandy colour makes it ideal for mixing with sweetcorn and maggots. In these instances, the 10mm versions can be absolutely deadly.

When looking at catch reports this winter, you’ll see plenty of mentions of this bait fooling carp up and down the country. Just as it did the winter before, and the winter before that, and the winter before that…
