Cooler On Wheelers

It’s not just doomsday preppers who appreciate a solid cooler box—they’re an outdoor essential for all adventures

Yeti debuted with the solid-state Tundra 35 Cooler, and for their latest launch, they’ve added wheels to power the extra mile. Here's everything you need to know...

1. Durability
The new Tundra Haul Wheeled Cool Box is Yeti’s first-ever cooler on wheels. Just like the original Tundra, it feels utterly bombproof—a cooler that will stand the test of time, which is what you’d want, considering the price tag. Every part has been manufactured to be virtually indestructible. Heavy-duty, patented, and made to never bust latches. An interlocking two-pin hinge design that prevents breaking. And a durable, welded aluminium arm (which stows away neatly when not in use) for easy towing is just three of many robust features.

2. Puncture-free
Never fret about getting a puncture. Yeti’s trademarked ‘NEVERFLAT WHEELS’ are a solid, single-piece tyre construction, which is impact- and puncture-resistant.

3. Internal space
The cooler’s interior looks a little less roomy than you might expect, given its external appearance (71.4W x 46.2D x 49.8H cm), but it’ll house 45 beer cans (using a 2:1 ice-to-can ratio) or 30kgs of Sticky’s finest.

4. Insulation
This is where your money’s going. Three inches of insulation made from pressure-injected polyurethane locks in that ‘just-packed’ temperature for long durations. A freezer-quality gasket blocks out heat and locks in the cold, while the ‘Interlock Lid System’ creates a form-fitting barrier against extreme temps.

5. Price and reviews
Are you ready for the price? Deep breath. £425. Okay, so it’s not cheap, but it is unrivalled when it comes to performing the job it’s been designed to do: keep your food and drink chilled for a long time. It also comes in the best colourways: orange, dark green, purple, red, white, black, tan (featured here) and navy.
