Cygnet Minimal Collection
A fresh drop from our friends in black! The Minimal collection is the brand’s new happy-medium between the original T-Bar range and last year’s 20/20 range
In so many ways, Cygnet has come an awful long way since it was founded in 1993. In others, it’s refreshingly unchanged. The product range may have grown (a lot!) but the ethos is the same, as is the unstinting commitment to quality and innovation.
Cygnet still makes slick bankware, finished it its trademark matt black, much the same as it did when precision engineer, Mick Nolan founded the company in 1993. The resurgence of black, lightweight banksticks and buzzer bars is largely down to the Yorkshire-based company, and it’s lightweight, affordable kit has carved out a substantial niche in the market.
Not content with that, the Cygnet team, headed by long-term carper, and tackle geek, John Walker, have made plenty of strong and innovative additions to the range in recent times. Think about the awesome range of indicators, the baiting pole, distance sticks, pods, weighing kit and innumerable vital accessories. And now comes the Minimal collection for twenty-seventeen… cygnettackle.co.uk
1. Minimal Banksticks
Slimmer than the comfortingly chunky 20/20 range, yet strong enough to drive deep into the most unyielding ground, these new banksticks are achingly cool. The muted, matt black finish could only be Cygnet, along with uprated features (stainless-tipped thumb screws for extra durability), means that these sticks merit their place in the Pantheon of legendary Cygnet bankware!
2. Minimal Buzzer Bars
These are stronger than the original Cygnet T-bar buzz bars, thanks to their slightly thicker gauge, yet they’re slimmer than the 20/20. The total absence of frills here is bang on-trend, and demonstrates quite perfectly how Cygnet is proving that black is, and always will be, the new black!
