DNA SLK Evo Kit & Powdered Additives

DNA Baits have just the thing for those of us who love their SLK boilies and can’t resist tinkering with our hookbaits!

It’s fair to say that DNA has never taken the easy route to success. Rather than simply copying what was out there (and successful) when they launched, Jason Trought and the lads went their own way and working with the likes of Mark Holmes, they designed special kits that allow you to make hookbaits that are every bit as advanced as those used by Mark and the rest of the team. Any questions?

The Big Questions

SLK: what does that stand for?
It stands for Shrimp Liver Krill, which was just a nickname for this bait during testing. It’s a totally natural bait, that’s packed with natural attractors… and no synthetic attractors in sight! It’s based around high-quality low-temperature and hydrolysed fishmeals and boasts a cracking liquid attractor package, consisting of liquidised shrimp, liquid liver, krill hydrolysate and cod liver oil.

What exactly do you get in one of these kits?
Okay, so you get a pot of specially salt-cured hookbaits (they’ve already done half the work for you!), a small bottle of liquid attractant, in this case the SLK, and a 50g packet of a blend of powdered ingredients. You also get a handy measuring spoon, a large tub to prepare your bait in, and thorough instructions as to how to make them.

Is it fiddly to do?
Not really. Basically you mix your powdered ingredients with the liquid in the big pot, then add the cured baits and roll them round to coat them. Dry and repeat!

What if I want to make my baits stand out even more?
Well, DNA has just the thing: a range of special powdered attractants that you can add to your kit to pep them up even more. Choose from Keramine, Spirulina, GLM, Liver Powder, Betaine, Fruit Sense and Milk E. You can simply add them at the wrapping stage and away you go.
