Do small fish and big fish rigs exist?
Do you feel that there is a distinction between a small fish rig and a big fish rig?
“Obviously some of these questions are pretty similar so sorry if I’m repeating myself. A small fish rig will still catch big fish and a big fish rig will still catch small fish. If you look at the Hinged Stiff and Chod Rig hook sections you can see that they are like extensions to the shank of the hook. It’s stiff and curved so in essence it’s like fishing a whacking great hook with a transparent shank, which is obviously great for the larger mouths of big carp.
“For some smaller fish I might be tempted to fine down, smaller hooks and little bit-baits with PVA Sticks for example. But, if you were to use that same rig for a big carp with a huge cavernous mouth then it’s obviously going to be able to eject the rig more easily."
