ESP Ronnie Rigs

‘The’ rig from the last few years just became even more appealing thanks to ESP and their new ready-to-use option

The effectiveness of the Ronnie Rig doesn’t need a hard sell to anyone. 360-degree free spinning movement, aggressively angled, and with the hookbait shielding the hook from view. It’s caught carp from everywhere it’s been used, from runs waters like Linear’s B1 to tricky low stock, highly pressured gravel pits in the South and deep, silty meres in the North. While some carp would shy away from a high-sitting Hinged Stiff Link, barely a soul would notice this low-lying pop-up presentation which is effective whether fished over particles and spod mix, among a wide spread of boiled food or on its own with a high-attract hookbait.

ESP’s new ready-to-use Ronnie’s carry all the hallmarks which have made the Oxford-based brand’s rep second-to-none when it comes to ready-tied rigs. Assembled in their own factory, each rig incorporates a non-slip Grip Stop, Hook Ring Swivel and Quick Change Uni-Link Swivel which is sleeved in shrink tube plus the essential Cryogen Curve-Shanx hook that’s incredibly strong with a super sharp long life point. Simply attach to your desired hooklink material, tie on your hookbait and watch your hooked-to-landed ratio go through the roof.
Available in both barbed and barbless in sizes 4 and 6.
