Exceptional Bankware From Summit
Combine the finest materials with exceptional craftsmanship and the net result are these: Summit’s Premier Ali range, and I cannot fault it
So, where do I start? I’ve been using the Summit Premier Ali Buzz Bars and Banksticks ever since I reviewed them (for CARPology’s YouTube channel) in January last year, and honestly, I can’t fault them. I’ve used them on a variety of terrains, and I genuinely can’t think of a situation where I haven’t been able to drive them into solid ground for a session, and even gaps in platforms!
The elongated point helps the banksticks penetrate almost anything. You can appreciate the quality of a stainless steel bankstick, when the point has remained sharp, even after being used and abused. The Mini Buzz Bars certainly look the part. Granted, they are very narrow, and fitting three Basias in such a narrow space takes some trickery—folded handles would be the key here—but from my time using them, as I say, I can’t fault them.
In my mind, the only improvement in a potential MKII would be the introduction of some form of locking collar when it comes to getting alarms and backrests perfectly flush. But that said, I see that functionality is already available on the ‘adjustable’ model of the bars I currently have. So on that note: Summit, please roll this feature across onto the fixed versions!
