Fox Camolite Supa Brolly

Being an avid Supa Brolly user, it was only a matter of time before CARPology’s Lewis Porter matched his Camolite luggage with the brolly…

When I first saw the original Fox Supa Brolly I instantly knew it was going to be my home away from home, and if you have been in the market for a new shelter within the last four years, then I have no doubt you would have looked at or considered one of its many sibling versions. And whilst the original model was amazing, following customer feedback Fox released a second-generation version: the Supa Brolly MK2. The tweaks to the already brilliant design took the product to the next level.

In 2015 Fox also introduced the Camolite luggage range. Being sensible I told myself that I was happy with my luggage and didn’t need/want to change… that lasted for all of about a week. Fox products are designed by anglers for anglers and the Camolite range is no different and after looking into the variety of products available I couldn’t resist. Like the Supa Brolly, I couldn’t see how you could make the existing ranges any better but luckily the development guys at Fox could and did!

And then with the Fox Camo pattern also extending to the fish care range, it was only going to be a matter of time before it went into the shelters and I think you can agree it looks sensational!

Having made the choice to change to a Supa Brolly in 2013 I have honestly never looked back or anywhere else. Its strength has battled and won near-on every situation I have pinned it against and on the one occasion it didn’t, I take full responsibility (note to self: it’s not carpy to only taking three pegs to save weight when fishing in the worst storm on record). Despite its unplanned trip across the open fields surrounding the banks of said southern pit, it’s still holding strong after countless nights with me underneath it.

My own system for a long time was carried around inside nothing more than my carp cradle for my overnighters and survived the abuse of being thrown around with the rest of my tackle on those countless mornings of waking up late and rushing the pack down!

Since using the Supa Brolly MK2 Camo I have become an even bigger fan of the Fox Camo pattern and Supa Brolly. The consistency in the quality through the evolution of the Supa Brolly is fantastic. From the hard-wearing bell cap, rear vents and oversized (as standard now) full-length zip travel bag, down to the simple things like the Velcro rod straps, it screams quality.

If you are in the market for a new brolly with a unique twist then look no further than the Supa Brolly MK2 Camo. And be sure to keep an eye on the CARPology Facebook page to be in with a chance of winning one along with a few other Fox Camolite products. “GIMME”: £249.99; foxint.com
