Fox push the boat out

Fox have broadened their boat range to help carpers get afloat at home and abroad

There are five new vessels in Fox’s Inflatable Boat collection, ranging in length from a nimble 1.8m to a wave-conquering 3.2m, so there’s a dinghy for all occasions here.

Unlike almost every other inflatable boat available, these have been specifically designed with the angler in mind, so there are plenty of useful touches.

180

All the boats have two moulded echo sounder mounts, except the smallest in the range, the 180, which has one. Visually, all five are available in a low-key green or Fox’s camo pattern in hard-wearing 0.7mm-thick fabric (0.9mm on the 240 and above). All the boats have a two-chamber system and a security overpressure valve.

External grab handles have been placed to ensure stability when carrying these boats and they all come with reinforced side rails for increased protection.

The largest boat, the 320, can be used with either an air-deck or aluminium floor, while the 290 and 240 have air decks. The smaller 180 and 200 have built-in marine-ply floors for quick set-up.

Aluminium oars and seats are supplied with all the boats, and each one can be used with an outboard motor.

With five size options, there’s plenty of choice. The smaller boats are ideal for solo baiting and feature-finding missions, while the larger dinghies can help transport kit across lakes and are much better suited to rougher weather and for use when playing a fish. All of the boats are supplied with a foot pump, repair kit and valve key.
