Fox Ready-Tied Rigs
We’ve got news of a launch of new kit from Fox that’s sure to keep them at the top of our most-wanted list this summer!
From the moment Cliff Fox brought his first bedchair to the awe-struck carp scene way back when, there has barely been time to draw breath between the innovative launches from the Essex tackle giant. The talented design team has ensured that the innovation that’s hard-wired into Fox’s DNA has continued to bear fruit in more recent times too, more evidence of which you’ll find below!
1. Chod Rigs
Perhaps the rig of the last 25 years, tied immaculately, with the distinctive Fox twist on it. They’re available in Short, or Standard variants (in barbed or barbless) and are supplied on foam disks that can be handily be loaded directly onto the Fox Multi Chod & Zig Bin. We absolutely love the fact that the D-Rig arrangements feature the Micro Hook Ring Swivel for that bit of extra movement. “GIMME”: £5.49
2. Curve Short Rigs
These neat rigs are based around the solid Curve Short hooks, which look like they’re capable of taking some serious punishment! They’re tied with highly rated coated braid, Coretex Matt, and feature a loop in the end so they can be used with standard swivels, as well as quick-change swivels (two of each are supplied). To aid with hooking, the Curve Short rigs boast Trans Khaki Aligna Adaptors, which flip that hook superbly well. 3. Wide Gape Rigs
Brilliant all-round rigs that feature the super-reliable Edges Wide Gape Beaked hooks. Trans Khaki Aligna Adaptors help the hook to flip round and catch hold quickly. They’re tied with reliable Coretex Matt coated braid and you can choose from three different variants in micro-barbed or barbless too. There are two rigs per pack, and they come with two quick-change swivels and two standard swivels as well as Hair extending Boilie Props. Choose from Weedy Green or Gravelly Brown. “GIMME”: £4.49
4. Wide Gape PVA Bag Rigs
Short braided rigs that have been designed for use inside a solid PVA bag. They’re tied with the proven Edges Wide Gape hook and Reflex Camo Braid. The supple braid will allow your hookbait to behave naturally and be sucked up easily when a fish feeds over the bag mix.
