Gardner Distance Braid & Kinetic Sinking Shockleader

Outperform your own casting ability with Gardner’s new extreme-range braid and braided shockleader material

Kinetic Distance Braid

Gardner’s new Kinetic Distance Braid takes all the perfections from the company’s coveted Kinetic Braided Main Line but with added go-faster stripes. Those stripes are actually a very dark shade of green, as this reduces mid-water visibility - an essential consideration as extreme-range fishing often requires tight lines for positive bite indication. The braid’s smooth, soft-finish and round profile are what help it glide frictionlessly through the rod rings to achieve just huge, huge casting distances, while the 100% tightly woven Dyneema fibres not only offer incredible strength but near-zero stretch, giving you that instant feedback, whether that’s from a marker float, landing a Spomb or feeling for a drop at 180yds.

Kinetic Sinking Shockleader

Big distances means large amounts of power, and to get the most (and safely) out of the Kinetic Distance Braid you need to use the matching shockleader material. Unlike most braided leaders, this one actually sinks and Gardner have managed to do this by using a mixture of Dyneema and fluorocarbon fibres. The result is a braid that offers immense strength as well as the weight to settle down flush to the lakebed.
