How to clip up using the bankstick trick

Jack Brown shows how you can easily clip up using a couple of banksticks and hit the same spot every single time

1 With the lead cast to your chosen spot place the line under the line clip on the spool.

2 Push a bankstick into the ground either end of a standard rod 12ft apart next.

3 Wind the lead around one of the banksticks a couple of times to hold it in place like so.

4 Wrap the line between the sticks until hitting the clip, counting the number of wraps.

6 As long as you line up with a fixed skyline marker you will hit the same spot every time.

7 You can also repeat this process to clip-up Spombs and Spods for baiting accuracy.
