How to create a balanced tiger nut hookbait

STEP 1
These are the bits and pieces you’ll need to create this balanced presentation.

STEP 2
Start by drilling a hole like this into the tiger nut. Go about two-thirds through.

STEP 3
Plug the hole you’ve bored out with cork or foam of the same size.

STEP 4
Trim off the foam or cork stick and you’ll have a lovely balanced hookbait.

STEP 5
Now add the balanced tiger nut and piece of plastic corn to a bait needle.

STEP 6 Thread them onto some floss and secure into place with a bait stop like so.

STEP 7
Tie the floss-mounted hookbait onto the ring on your rig then trim and blob.

STEP 8
Attach the rig to your lead set-up and that’s it – it’s ready to go. It’s deadly!
