How to make krispy treats

Awesome for use in PVA bags, spod mixes and groundbait or simply to ‘ball-up’ and bait marginal areas

‘Krispy treats’: it’s a concoction of Sticky’s already legendary Manilla ingredients, namely their 2.3mm pellets, 12mm boilies and the Cloudy Manilla Liquid. To get the right consistency they need to be mixed thoroughly and left overnight to marinate and soak in all of the attractors. When you go back to it the following morning it resembles a Rice Krispy Square!

This is awesome for use in PVA bags, spod mixes and groundbait or simply to ‘ball-up’ and bait marginal areas. The mixture goes down to the bottom and over the course of your session will breakdown to release attractors into all levels of the water column, creating a cloud of liquids and pellets to pull them down to your baited patch. It’s devastating!

What you need:

A boilie crusher
A bait tub
12mm Manilla boilies
2.3mm Manilla Pellets
Cloudy Manilla Liquid
Optional: Tiger nuts

1. Crush your boilies up using a boilie crusher (Korda, Mistral, RidgeMonkey or a kitchen food processor).

2. If you’re using a boilie crusher, run the baits through it twice to really blitz them up.

3. Add the blitzed boilies, along with the 2.3mm pellets to the bait tub at a ratio of 5 parts pellet, 1 part boilies. Mix well.

4. Pour a good helping of the Cloudy Liquid over the boilie/pellet mix and stir thoroughly.

5. If you venue allows them, throw in a handful of tiger nuts (the spicy ones add a nice kick!)

6. Here’s the key part to this mix: let it rest and marinate. Ideally you want to leave it for 12 to 24hrs before using.

7. Go back to it the following morning and you’ll find some that resembles a sticky and oily tarmac! Now get balling…
