How to make slingshot big balls

A massive edge because no one uses either nowadays!

“Nothing’s new in carp fishing”. It’s a phrase we hear all the time - and this bait trick and method certainly aren’t new… it’s just they’re a massive edge because no one uses either nowadays! By using one of Nashy’s Ball Blasters, which in essence is a large groundbait catapult pouch that you attach to your line, you can fire out huge balls of groundbait a serious long way - like 70, 80, 90yds long way. That in itself is an edge, but add in this groundbait mix where you combine powder attractants with a good helping of neat liquid and you’ve got yourself one darn awesome method! Here’s how you do it…

What you need:

Bait-Tech Sweet Coconut Method Mix
Sweetcorn
Mini pellets (2 to 3mm)
Bait-Tech Sweet Coconut Liquid
A 20mm piece of tube (a funnel web tube is fine)
Nash Tackle Ball Blaster

1. Start by adding the groundbait to a mixing bowl (although we’ve used a rectangular tub, a round one is better for knocking up a mix), along with the sweetcorn, mini pellets and a good glug of liquid.

2. Mix all the ingredients thoroughly together and then allow the mix to stand.

3. Using the inner tube of a funnel web, mould a large ball of groundbait around it. With this method, don’t be afraid to make up really large balls.

4. Remove the tube and then fill the cavity three-quarters full with the Sweet Coconut Liquid.

5. Plug the end with groundbait and then pack some more round the sides.

6. Finally, load into the Nash Ball Blaster and fire those huge balls of goodness out to your spot!
