How to make the perfect summer stalking mix

Ahh, summer; what a wonderful time of year

To get the best results in the sizzling heat, it means creating opportunities, and the best way of doing that is to go off stalking. Whilst this mix is very basic to make, what if offers is simply sensational: small Method-style balls that are super cloudy. Make up some balls, prime some spots in the edge, and whilst you wait for the carp to move in, mesh-up some paste for the ultimate accompanying hookbait. Here’s how you do it…

What you need:

Pacific Tuna Bag Mix
Pacific Tuna Pellets 2mm
Tuna L030
Pacific Tuna Paste

1. First add the Pacific Tuna Bag Mix to the bait tub and then throw in some of the 2mm Tuna Pellets.

2. Add a small amount of warm water, along with some of the Tuna L030 liquid. Let the mix settle and go firm, allowing it to be made into small balls.

3. Whilst they rest, mesh-up some of the matching paste - either using some tights or Fox’s Arma Mesh and give the hookbait a good glug in the L030 just prior to dropping it down onto that lovely clean area under that marginal bush…
