How to tie a stiff hooking presentation

1 Here’s the bits and pieces you need to tie this pop-up presentation.

2 Start off by stripping off 12-15cm of your favourite skinned hooklink.

3 Tie a small loop in the end to retain the Hair stop when the rig is finished.

4 Tie on a rig ring to the hooklink and secure the hook with the Knotless Knot.

5 Thread an 8mm section of 0.5mm tube down the hooklink and over the hook eye.

6 Your hook section should hopefully now look a little like this! Onto Step 7…

7 Create a hinge at the height you want to fish the pop-up by stripping a small section.

8 Mould some Critical Mass putty around the stripped back section to counterbalance.
