Is six spods of bait enough?

The theory
You’ve turned up for a 24hr session and decide to give them some food. Half-a-dozen spods later and you’ve got a good bed of carp food out in the swim, right?
The facts
“That depends very much on what bait you are using in the spod,” explains Rob Hughes. Six large spods, cast right on the money, delivering 10mm boilies will be a good bed of bait. Six spods of wet mix/particles cast all over the shop will deliver nothing. When you look at your spod mix, imagine sieving a spods worth and see what will actually get to the bottom, then shove a lot more out than you originally would to get the effect that you hope to achieve.”
