Jim Wilson's Super Crumb
Jim lifts the lid on his versatile, four-season crumb mix...
I like to use boilie crumb all through the year, and it features in most of my mixes. By crumbing the baits, maximum attraction is attained as you also create an irresistible carpet of feed on the lakebed. The small particles will keep the fish grubbing around for hours, far longer than whole boilies might. I don’t overcomplicate things in my angling, and a simple mix of boilie crumb and hemp with some liquid and powdered attractors, is all you need to catch a few at any time of the year.
What you need:
l Manilla Active Boilies (crushed)
l Manilla Glug
l Hemp
l Betaine Powder
HOW TO MAKE IT:
1. Crush boilies to a fine crumb
2. Sprinkle over a generous helping of Pure Betaine Powder
3. Add the hemp (same volume as boilie crumb)
4. Mix to an even texture
5. Drizzle over some Manilla Glug to dampen
6. Leave for half an hour and ensure hemp doesn’t dry out
