Mix and match...

The word ‘compromise’ clearly wasn’t in Taska’s vocabulary when it came to creating the RizaLite Indicator Collection…

Building a bite indicator has traditionally been an exercise in compromise. Whilst one type of line clip works perfectly in one situation, it’s not too sharp in another. And one angler’s taste for matt black chains and arms differs greatly to someone who loves chunky bling stainless. Taska has eliminated those trade-offs – plus many more – by building one of the most comprehensive ranges of indicator optional extras, meaning you can create an almost totally bespoke indicator set-up. The range includes five different connecting chains, seven coloured heads (plus matching clip bands), three body sizes and three styles of line clips, along with add-on weights and hockey arms – and, as we’ve come to love from Taska – all are pitched at wallet-friendly price. taskacarp.com

Rizalite Mega V Clip Set

The Mega Bodies are designed to be bigger and more robust than its younger (and smaller) brothers – the Maxi and Mini bodies. It’s ideal for fishing with tighter line or in high wind conditions, however, you can switch between head sizes by simply unscrewing the head and threading on a different one depending on the situation.

It’s available in seven colours – Green, Red, Blue, Yellow, White, Black and Purple and are all manufactured from heavy-duty, highly polished plastic and will accept 3mm x 25mm isotopes. It’s available as a complete system – chain, bracket and head for just £7.99 or the head alone for £2.49.

Rizalite Mini Ball Chain Ball Clip Set

Just like the other two models in this ‘complete’ range, it comes in the seven colours with a five-inch Stainless Ball Chain, but where the Mini Ball differs is the line clip used, but more on that in a moment. It features a Mini Body, which like the others in the collection can be purchased individually and are extremely lightweight so make for a perfect slack-line indicator.

Right, that line clip: it’s what Taska are calling the Plastic Ball Clip. Some anglers prefer this type of head compared to more traditional line clips and offers friction-free line movement.

The Maxi Bodies are the mid-sized heads and are perfectly suited for slack line fishing in the margins to tight lines when you’re fishing in higher wind conditions. They feature a unique line clip which completely eliminates line damage, along with increasing bite indication and sensitivity and have a rotating head for perfect alignment.

This complete system comes with a five-inch Chunky Chain and is available in the seven colours and will accept 3mm x 25mm isotopes. This complete set-up costs a mere £7.99 or you can purchase these highly polished plastic heads for just £2.49 each.

Spare heads

Mix and match as you please

The key part of Rizalite range is its ability to allow you to customise your indicator set-up, so Taska has produced spare heads in the following colours so that you can customise at a very low price: Red, Green, Blue, Yellow, White, Black and Purple. Plus, if conditions suddenly change, you can simply switch between different line clips. The range includes a Line Clip, Ball Clip and a V Clip and all are produced in a clear, high strength, lightweight plastic and retail for £2.49.

Chain options

Old-school black? Chunk stainless chain? Modern-day Square Chain? Taska’s clearly got a cord for you…

Ball chain

Finished in a stunning, very culty looking new black coating, the Rizalite Ball Chain is manufactured from stainless steel so is not only lightweight but strong. It screws straight onto any of the Rizalite bodies and also onto the Rizalite Hockey Arm. It’s available in both 5” and 10” lengths and retails for £2.49.

Stainless Chunky Chains

This is produced in high-grade stainless steel for extra durability and have been created for the angler who prefers a short, chunky appearance to their set-up and they certainly help you achieve that look. Like the others in the range, they obviously fit all the bodies and come in just one length: five-inches. £4.95.

Stainless Ball Chain

The Stainless Ball Chain is very similar to the Ball Chain within the range, however, this one is destined for anglers who like a bit of ‘bling’ in their set-up. Featuring exposed stainless steel along with stainless screws and only sold in five-inch versions, they really do look classy and classic. They look sharp. £4.95.

Chunky Chain

The Chunky Chain is produced for those anglers who prefer the more robust and chunky set-up that these chains give. Finished in a high quality, non-reflective black coating, they again come in two lengths – mini five-inch or for an old school look opt for the 10-inch version. These also retail for a mere £2.49.

Square Chain

The Square Chain is a first in the fishing industry and is produced for anglers who want something that little bit different. Not only are they lightweight but extremely strong thanks to being made from stainless. They fit directly onto the Rizalite Bodies and come in just one length – five-inches and retail for £4.59.
