Fresh jars of particles from Nashbait look set to kickstart your spring campaign

Image

Nashbait’s reputation has justifiably been forged through decades of best-selling boilie recipes such as old-school favourites like Monster Pursuit and more recent hits like Citruz and the revitalised Scopex Squid. But now they’ve brought their own spin to the particle world by releasing jars of pre-cooked, ready-to-use seeds and nuts. It’s a competitive market already populated by a few all-round big hitters and plenty of particle specialists, so let’s take a deep dive into why Nash reckon they are onto a winner with their tubs of natural goodies…

Why should I be excited about these?
While it’s true to say that jars of ready-to-go particles are not new, Nash have clearly looked at the market and decided to do things slightly differently.

So what makes them so special to other ready-prepared particles?
Nash themselves describe the new range as using ‘the finest ingredients, the most attractive blends and the most advanced manufacture’. What we can instantly tell is none of the options is a bog-standard particle, they’ve all got something extra. For instance, the hemp is boosted with oil or Scopex Squid flavourings, while the seed mixes are all boosted with Himalayan rock salt.

I’m guessing all this awesomeness is going to make my wallet sweat, right?
You might be surprised by the value they offer, to be honest. There are two different jar sizes—500ml or 2.5 litres—so you can pick the right one to minimise wastage on your session. The smaller options all cost £3.99 while the larger jars are all £11.99, which ain’t too bad at all.

Isn’t there a range of matching liquids too?
Yeah, there are some really interesting liquid additives to go along with this launch. The four flavours include Salted Squid, Wormcell, Mussel Blend and Brine Shrimp & Gammurus. The Wormcell is one that stands out to us and is a 100-percent-natural hydrolysed earthworm concentrate. We’re very intrigued by that one! Elsewhere, the Mussel Blend is a blend of three whole mussel species, including green lipped mussel (GLM is a classic carp flavour) and is one of Alan Blair’s favourites in the range. He calls it ‘carp in a bottle’, according to the team at Nash.

How many different particle mixes make up the range?
In addition to those four new liquids there are seven particle options. These are Oily Hemp, Scopex Squid Hemp, Sweet Tiger Nuts, Tiger Nut Slush, Large Seed Mix, Small Seed Mix and Creamed Corn. We reckon that covers plenty of options for carp on well-stocked commercial waters or rarely fished venues.
