Finygo, the tech start-up taking fishing to Buckingham Palace
Finygo is a mobile fishing app
Finygo, the mobile fishing app which records and analyses anglers’ past trips to increase future success rates, is delighted to announce it will be attending Buckingham Palace on 8 November as one of 42 businesses selected to take part in Pitch at Palace 10.0. Founded in 2014 by The Duke of York, Pitch@Palace provides a platform to amplify and accelerate the work of Entrepreneurs. Attending the event for Wokingham-based Finygo will be CEO and passionate angler Chris Atkinson together with co-founder, CTO and tech expert Christy Haragan.
The pair initially attended Pitch@Palace 10.0 Boot Camp at Cambridge Judge Business School on 4 October 2018 delivering a 3 minute pitch to an audience of supporters and elevators. Chris said, “attending Boot Camp was a great experience – albeit nerve wracking presenting to such a high-profile audience. Christy and I are super excited to be taking Finygo to Buckingham Palace to help raise the profile of fishing and it’s amazing therapeutic benefits.”
The winners of Pitch@Palace 10.0 will be selected on 8 November 2018 at Buckingham Palace by an audience vote. All participating entrepreneurs also compete in a public vote, the Pitch@Palace People’s Choice Award. This is an opportunity for the public to learn more and vote for their favourite business, Finygo can be voted for here.
The winner of the People’s Choice Award will also be announced on the day at Buckingham Palace.
