New personal best for Tom Ward

Part of a seven fish catch over two nights

Mass baiting resulted in a new personal best for Tom Ward in the shape of this 47lb 12oz common.

During a two night session on Yateley's Match Lake, the 20-year student landed seven fish in total including Yateley's biggest common, 'The Redmire' (pictured).

"The fish had spawned the week before so I set up in one of the main open water swims," explained Tom.

"On the first evening I filled it in with 30 kilos of mixed hemp, Krill boilies, maize and some Krill Clusters. By topping up after every morning I managed a total of seven fish."

Tom managed to catch two originals during his trip including the Bum Snag Fish and Big Twin.
