Bilingual Customer Service Advisor - Rackheath
Background
Due to increased sales in Europe, we are looking to recruit a further member of permanent staff in the customer service department who will be responsible for all initial enquiries from our European market.
The Role
This function reports directly into the Customer Service Manager. The purpose of this job is to deal with European customer enquiries – predominantly from Germany and France. Engaging with the customers and maintaining excellent customer service and focus. Supporting process and administration within the department is also a key part of the role, with a continuous improvement mind-set.
Please note; this role does involve weekend working
Key Outputs
• Dealing with European enquiries and call backs via telephone, E-mail and live chat.
• Responsible for taking queries and having ownership of issues raised
• Processing web orders, refunds and exchanges.
• Checking for fraudulent activity where applicable.
• Acting as a facilitator to resolve customer disputes.
• Back order fulfilment.
• Coordinate with other departments to solve queries and find solutions for issues.
• Coordinate and process customer orders as well as online tracking information.
• Advise on product information.
Qualifications, experience and skills
• Fluent in English as well as another European language – Ideally German or French (verbal and written.)
• Self-Motivated and able to work under pressure
• Knowledge of fishing and fishing tackle and understanding of computers and till systems is preferred.
• Excellent organizational skills
• Knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel

Area Manager
Background
Due to the acquisition of Fosters, Wigan and Wilmslow in addition to our own organic growth, we are now looking to recruit for a third Area Manager.
The Role
This function reports directly into the Group Commercial Manager. The Area Manager will have overall responsibility for a number of stores in an allocated area. Responsible for all regional staff, and working closely with other senior managers and department managers, the Area Manager will need to be a role model with a real passion for delivering results and driving the business agenda forward.
Key Responsibilities
• Setting and reviewing sales and stock targets including core stock ranges.
• Driving the maximization of sales, growth and profitability.
• Maintaining a stimulating and supportive environment for the team.
• Working with store managers to ensure all current and future legislation requirements and standards are met.
• Leading a continuous improvement culture and challenging the status quo.
• Ambassador for our brand and the values it represents.
• Leading customer experience strategies.
• Motivating, inspiring and coaching store managers to enhance personal performance and that of their teams.
• Ensuring you have the right people capability and engagement to deliver business objectives.
• Driving operational excellence, compliance and execution across your area.
• Providing feedback and partnering with all areas of the business to influence change.

Qualifications & experience
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Health and Safety qualification/training
• Advanced Excel/spreadsheet data & ERP experience
• Minimum 3 years people management experience
• Proven capability as a driven and results orientated leader
• A minimum 5 year’s experience in the retail sector is preferred
