Prologic Bulldozer Line

Can’t decide between the reliability of mono, and the cryptic qualities of fluorocarbon? Now you don’t have to thanks to Prologic…

Bulldozer. The clue’s in the name. This is a seriously tough main line. Why? Well, it’s all in the cross-section; cut this line open and you’ll see that it’s anything but conventional. Its special construction allows it to have the best qualities of both mono and fluorocarbon. Like we said, you really can have your cake and eat it. Come take a closer look with us…

The Big Questions

Go on then: how do you blend mono and fluorocarbon?
Okay, so imagine a core of strong, dense mono, sheathed in pure fluorocarbon, that’s how. This kiddie has traditional mono and fluorocarbon as parents, and it’s got all the good genes!

But I’m a mono fan - convince me…
This is going to be easy (no offence!). Prologic has taken your favourite mono (you know, the stuff you use because “if it ain’t broke, don’t fix it”) and given it a skin of fluorocarbon. This trumps your mono in at least three ways:it sinks faster, stretches less and is more hardwearing!

Oh, right. Tell me more!
So, that coating. First, it adds smoothness to the mono, increasing performance and, ultimately, yardage. It also makes the line sink faster. That’s because one of the things that fluorocarbon does best is sink… fast!

Less stretchy too?
Yep. Again fluorocarbon is less stretchy than mono, which is one helluva useful attribute! Thanks to the coating you’ll get better indication, stop a charging carp faster, and feel the lakebed more intimately. It’s also more abrasion resistant, thanks to the coating, which is never going to be a bad thing, is it? We kinda think that this is a no-brainer really!

So what choices do I have here?
Well, the range includes Hi-Viz Yellow, for which the jury is out on for carping, and Trans Green, which is right up our street, frankly. Choose from 10, 12, 15, 18 and 20lb.
