Bait-Tech Krill & Tuna range

Bait-Tech have released another banger!

Bait-Tech are riding high in the bait market after the successful introduction of the Poloni and Triple-N boilie ranges, and now they’ve pulled out all the stops with a new fishmeal. The Suffolk-based company has huge experience in the carp and coarse world, so this latest boilie is definitely worthy of closer inspection. As a fishmeal-based bait it sits perfectly between the nutty sweetness of the Triple-N and the unique herby-peppery flavour of the Poloni and gives Bait-Tech a trio of premium boilies to cover all bases.

The Big Questions

What does KnT mean?
It stands for krill and tuna, which any glance at your local tackle retailer’s bait aisle will confirm are two of the most popular carp-catching ingredients out there. In short, this rich red bait has a pungent fishy smell and is packed with plenty of proven attractors and flavours.

Does it contain anything else?
This range has been developed with no fewer than five types of meal, including kelp and LT94. The latter is a high-quality fishmeal, meaning it contains more meat than bones and scales. It’s a proven ingredient used by many bait manufacturers across the carp-fishing market.

Will it catch?
Bait-Tech’s field-testers have already demonstrated the power of the KnT, with plenty of catches reported across the country. Now that the general public can get their hands on it, those reports are likely to rocket. Bait-Tech bills the KnT as a high-leakage bait and boldly claims it will “punch above all other fishmeal boilies on the market”. It certainly appears to be made with plenty of soluble ingredients that can really pull fish into your area. The Triple-N and Poloni ranges have been massive successes and it looks like this one will follow in those footsteps.

The KnT is made with no fewer than five types of meal, including kelp and LT94, two absolute proven carp-catchers.

What’s in the range?
As you’d expect, Bait-Tech haven’t just released a standard bottom bait on its own. There are also matching pop-ups and matching washed-out dumbbell wafters. The former replicate the colour of the standard bottom-bait boilies and are available in 10, 15 and 18mm sizes. The washed-out dumbbell wafters are smaller at 8 and 10mm, and each pot contains a mixture of three different colours: white, pink and yellow. These are ideal for solid PVA bag rigs or for use as a boilie topper.

How about a liquid?
Yep, Bait-Tech have thought of that, too. Their new CSL glug is also available in a KnT flavour. CSL, or corn steep liquor, is an absolutely classic carp-catching liquid and Bait-Tech have two new versions for this year (the other option is natural flavouring). Glugging your boilies in this liquid will give them an extra kick and release more attraction around your baited area. You can also use it as a hookbait dip or a liquid covering for other baits.
