Cygnet Tackle Baiting Pole

Cygnet’s new 12m baiting pole will see you ‘shipping out’ like a seasoned match angling pro and a catch card better than Terry Hearn’s before the summer’s out

The clever peeps at Cygnet – who’ve been building baiting-related products to make your life easier and your baited spots more precise for years – set out to design their new Baiting Pole to be the ultimate stealth-baiting device. They succeeded: it’s light, unobtrusive and manoeuvrable, offering devastatingly accurate baiting and hookbait placement anywhere within 12m of the bank. It stores within itself for minimal footprint when in transport, the split spoon keeps wet baits separate from hookbaits, foam and PVA, and it’ll save you a fortune on rigs and leads lost in trees and bushes, not to mention will give you the ultimate in presentation. Unlike many baiting poles, this seven-piecer is rolled from put-over carbon composite which means there’s virtually zero flex so it’s easier to manoeuvre across the water.

And whilst a bait boat may be able to sail out 400yds, it also needs batteries, costs five times as much and is heavy and bulky. ‘Shipping out’ with this brute offers even more precision than a bait boat, plus, should you want to place a bait on a far margin, cast across, retrieve your rig and then place it with this. Boom!
