Fox Easy-Dome Maxi Range

The Fox Easy Dome is one of angling’s longest serving shelters.

The Fox Easy Dome originally dates back over twenty-years, and it’s been a good three since we last saw any modifications. That long drought ends this month with some clever tweaks that ensure there’s now even more usable space inside each of the three new models.

1. Easy Dome 1 Man Maxi

The biggest change to the original model – and this is featured on all three new ones – is the additional rear rib which (a) gives a flat back profile, which (b) increases the usable internal space, and (c) increases stability. There’s now rear mozzy mesh vents for increased airflow and the removable inner mozzy mesh sleeping compartment now has a removable PE groundsheet which makes it both easier to clean and pack-away. “GIMME”: £399.99; Heavy Duty Groundsheet, £34.99

2. Easy Dome 2 Man Maxi

The 2 Man Maxi has all of the same features, and all the same spec, but just with a large footprint. The outer fabric has a 6000mm hydrostatic head which is fixed to aero-grade aluminum poles which feature Fox’s unique Snap Lock elbows. There’s integrated guy ropes for extreme weather situations, along with mozzy mesh, solid and PVC door options, all of which have two-way zips for barn-style opening. “GIMME”: £459.99; Heavy Duty Groundsheet, £39.99

3. Easy Dome 2 Man Euro Maxi

It’s the ultimate bit of bankside real estate for the long-session angler that requires a lot of space. With a footprint larger and higher than the standard 2 Man Maxi, it’ll easily soak up two wide bedchairs and a mountain of tackle, bait and food. Along with all the features you’d find on the previous two models, there’s also mozzy mesh front side panels, Velcro rod retaining straps and it’s supplied with pegs and a new design carry bag. “GIMME”: £529.99; Heavy Duty Groundsheet, £49.99
