JRC Radar CX Alarms

JRC Radar CX alarms are really decent little buzzers. They’re packed with tech, a ton of features, and are well priced, as you’ll see…

Want solid bite alarms for a spectacular price? Well, JRC might just have come up with a worldie of a deal. The Radar CX alarms do it all (yes, even down to the remote receiver), and they won’t break the bank. Are they a perfect match for you, though?

How does £139.99 for three alarms and a receiver sound?! Well, that’s exactly what you get with the Radar CXs

1. You like your kit to be relevant
Okay, so you’ll like these then. They’re not some Euro import that has been designed for anglers fishing inland seas with pods bigger than your house. Nope, the Radar CX was designed, engineered and tested in the UK, by actual carp anglers. Okay, that means it’s made abroad, but hey, how do you think they get that price down? Clearly, they’ll work admirably should you wish to test them on some French reservoir, but we just thought that you should know that they were designed principally for you…

2. They need to be tough, right?
And they are. The housing on the alarm heads and receiver are made from impact resistant ABS plastic, which is just as well, because if you’re anything like us, you’ll just be throwing those alarms into the rucksack without a second thought. When you think about it, alarms put up with an awful lot, like occasionally getting smashed in the face by
a butt ring if you’re locked up!

They come supplied with hard cases

3. You like a social
It’s naughty we know, but sometimes the action is in the next-swim down, right? The takeaway, the tea social, the photo session, they all call us away from our carefully laid traps, which is why the Radar CX receivers have a range of upwards of 150m. Let’s be clear, we’re not condoning ‘trotting’, but we recognise that sometimes, just sometimes, there’s no way around it! If you do trot, definitely no snag fishing guys…

4. High maintenance is a no-no
We agree, and the Radar’s deliver. They’re totally weather proofed, which does seem to have been an issue with generations of alarms. All electronics have been double-sealed too, so you really shouldn’t have to look after these alarms, as such. The battery life is long, so you can just grab them and go fishing, which is what we all want, right?

The receiver works up to 150m

5. It comes down to price for you?
Make yourself comfortable then, because we’ve got a little deal to pass your way. How does £139.99 for three alarms and a receiver sound? We’ll just leave that there. If you want to buy them separately, then you’re looking at £39.99 per head, and £29.99 for the receiver. Either way, you’ll have to agree that the Radar CX range is pretty staggering value for money!
