Proper Carp Baits Single Hookbaits
These new high-attract hookbaits offer the ultimate when it comes to attraction
When two heads like Jon McAllister and Sean Leverett get together to start a bait company, you know it will be something special, and something done absolutely the right way, with the highest level input, best ingredients and most rigorous testing. With well over half a century of experience between them on some of the hardest and most demanding of the UK’s waters, they are perfectly placed to know the importance of sitting behind something you can absolutely trust, in their world there is simply no place for anything less. With a tight range of products and ultra consistent quality, they’re at the very top of their game already. Here’s how their new Pop-Up collection shapes up…
1. Mulberry
A smell that is tricky to put your finger on: potent, but not overpowering, smooth, and lingering, Mulberry is an absolute classic, and a label that has been catching carp since before you were born possibly. A favourite of many top lads and the pale, pastel purple gives them an undoubtedly different edge too. Available in 12, 14 and 16mm to cover any eventuality.
2. Opal Fruit
Blends are where it is at these days for many people. Why just limit yourself to one attractor label when your little single pop-up sat out there could be multi-tasking and doing five things at once? The Opal Fruit is a secret blend and handily come in two colours in the same pot to give you some options on the day, golden flouro orange and pink. Absolute winners.
3. Rhubarb and Custard
Fancy something a bit different? Everyone you know using the same old smells? These beauties that come in a lovely subtle pale pastel pink and yellow combo fill that gap nicely. A genuinely uniquely labelled pop-up that is as good at catching carp as it smells.
4. Booster Sprays
The range comes with dedicated booster sprays to really pep your hookbaits and give them the turbocharge you need. Rather than your pop-ups sitting soaking in a heavy liquid that will negatively affect the buoyancy, give them a light spray, just enough to glaze them, and wait a few days until it has been fully absorbed. Repeat at your leisure until you are ready to cast them out and wind in carp!
