RAD Angling Developments Distance Sticks

These sleek new Distance Sticks from RAD Angling Developments don’t just have open-mouthed looks; they’ve got the brains to match…

The tackle pimps at RAD have engineered a set of distance sticks which look as slick as your rod set-up – they’ve mixed a dash of fluoro acrylic with a generous helping of carbon fibre and the outcome is nothing short of droll-inducing.

To work alongside these thick-walled 15mm 3k carbon sticks, RAD has developed Stick Sturdy’s. Made from engineering grade acetal, the idea behind them stemmed from anglers complaining about falling over distance sticks, folk leaving them in the ground on paths and tracks, and issues with getting sticks in on rough ground. The Stick Sturdy’s overcome all of these problems. They’ll go in to almost any ground surface, including gravel and hardcore. They’ll also withstand a car or van running over them and don’t create any hazard to people walking over them. It’s just a matter of pushing them in to the ground (put your foot on them and press home) and then inserting your Distance Sticks. They’ll also fit other distance sticks such as those from Cygnet and Fox.

Oh, as a tarty bonus, these also have a slot to accommodate a 3mm isotope so you can spot them at night.

“GIMME”: The Distance Stick Kit (comprises of two Distance Sticks, two Stick Sturdy’s and a Removal Tool), £38.99; Distance Sticks, £28.99; Stick Sturdy’s, £15.99. radangling.co.uk
