Spot On Fish

The SpotOnFish promises digital accuracy to help you hit the exact same mark every cast

Housed neatly in a smart briefcase with plenty of internal padding, this device means business from the moment you see it. Featuring a winding mechanism and a large LCD screen, the SpotOnFish is an automatic distance-measuring tool. Attach it to a bankstick with the supplied connector and allow it to work out exactly how far out your chosen spot is.

First, cast out and clip-up as you would normally. Then, feed your lead clip into the SpotOnFish’s winding mechanism and, with a speed of more than 100m per minute, allow it to peel line off your spool and work out how far out you’re fishing.

You can save up to three rods at once and allow the rechargeable-battery-powered device to measure out the correct distance each time. If you already know the distance you want to fish at, you can also manually input the measurement in either yards or metres.
The kit comes supplied with a cone-shaped piece of foam to place in your butt ring to allow hands-free tensioning of the line, and the winding mechanism will gradually slow down as it reaches your required distance.

This is a high-tech alternative to the time-honoured practice of using distance sticks, and one that assures complete accuracy every time.
