Turning Pop-Ups to Wafters!
Forget putty! This trick is so much quicker and neater
Save the need to drill and plug your pop-ups with putty by following the steps in this handy little hookbait bushcraft tip! Using Korda’s rather neat Dark Matter Balancing Weights in a somewhat different way allows you to quickly and easily fish your favourite hookbaits that little bit closer to the deck. Better still, you can perfectly balance all manner of pop-ups with different buoyancies and sizes by grabbing a mixed pack of said Balancing Weights to see what works best for you.
HOW TO DO IT
1. Mount your chosen pop-up onto a baiting needle.
2. Grab a 0.35g Dark Matter Balancing Weight and slide onto your needle, wide-end first.
3. With help from the large slot in a Krimp Tool, push the balancing weight flush into your pop-up.
4. Mount onto floss, making sure the micro ring swivel sits in nicely against your Balancing Weight.
5. Blob with a lighter, and you’re ready to go!
