Tying a solid PVA bag rig

Follow these six simple steps to tie the a solid PVA bag rig...

1. Place your hookbait in the corner of a solid PVA bag.

2. Cover with half an inch of your chosen mix, position your lead and cover with more mix.

3. Keep tapping the bag so the mix settles (add PVA friendly liquids now).

4. If you are using a dry mix prick the PVA bag to allow air out.

5. When the bag is compressed twist the top and secure with PVA tape or string.

6. Trim off the excess tape.

7. Compact the PVA bag mix and fold back the corners to create a streamlined shape.

8. The bottom of the PVA bag should look a little like this, and it should be filled tightly.

9. Once the excess around the top has been trimmed...

10 - ...the remaining PVA can be licked and stuck down around the tail rubber.
