Behold the new SONIK SKS Bedchair – where luxury sleeping and low price meet

It’s hard to believe now, but there was once a time when sleeping on the bank meant a garden chair or if you were lucky, one of those blue camping chairs from Argos. Now, if your angling furniture doesn’t have a mattress which rivals that of your bed at home, along with a handful of legs and built-in pillow, you’re termed as “roughing it”.

This new bedchair from SONIK falls inside their SKS collection – a range which is made up of top-end, superbly-made but exceptionally well-priced luggage, bivvies and carp care products, and just like all those items, the bed doesn’t disappoint either.

Completely flat laying beds with no cam wheels have been all the rage for sometime now, and for good reason, but that lack of adjustability does limit how you can set the bed. However, SONIK have overcome this with a clever three position ratchet system which allows you to adjust the angle of support, meaning you can have the perfect lounger style chair one minute and a completely flat bed the next.

The skirting is made from a hardwearing 600D fabric with extra internal padding to protect you from the frame, whilst the fleece-covered mattress, six individually adjustable round legs with fitted mud feet give the SKS Bed extraordinarily levels of comfort.

Just match this with the brand’s SKS Sleeping Bag and Pillow and you have a package primed to take on this autumn and winter.
