The Multi Pod
Meet Cygnet’s newest rod system. It’s a rod pod alright, but not like any one you’ll have ever seen or used before...
Ever since its inception in 1992, Cygnet consistently presents new ideas and trends first and has gained a reputation for originality. From their Snug Bars to being at the heart of the ‘everything-has-to-be-black’ look we’re all obsessing over right now. And their latest offering is the most multifunctional rod pod CARPology.net has ever seen or used.
The Multi Pod comes supplied with three rod buzzer bars
All the legs are fully interchangeable for ultimate versatility
If you want a pod that’ll look good on any British lake and take on huge overseas venues like Cassien and the River Seine, this new pod is for you and your rods. Named ‘The Multi Pod’ for good reason, it allows you to position your rods at any angle, from parallel with the water to skyward so you can keep your line up and away from snags and treacherous undertows.
The buzzer bars are seated on fully articulated arms for more versatility
It’s supplied with 10, 12, 24 and 36” legs
The heart of the Multi Pod is made up of two fully extendable central bars, meaning it’s ideal for either 12 or 13ft rods, and at the same time delivers the ultimate in stability. It comes supplied with 10, 12, 24 and 36” legs, all of which are interchangeable, and all of them boast independent locking mechanisms to accommodate any terrain. The supplied three-rod buzzer bars are also independently adjustable and lockable too, meaning roller buzzers won’t jam against the blank no matter what angle you have your rods at, from tips down to near vertical.
Twin central bar construction means it’s incredibly stable
And just like the stylish carry case, which also features a neat pocket to take the buzzer bars complete with alarms in position, the Multi Pod comes finished in Cygnet’s signature black look. And although you’re getting a bagful of extra sticks, the total weight combined is just 5.4kgs!
