Tom Maker's Worm Mix

You don't need a lot of worms—just make sure you combine them with good ingredients and feed well...

"Every carp swimming (that I fish for anyway) will know what a pellet is. They are loaded full of goodness and serve a fantastic purpose, especially when using worms. The pellets not only absorb the moisture from the sweetcorn, they also soaks up the natural amino acids from the worms, meaning the mix becomes heavy and gets down onto the lakebed and over the top of my rigs."

1. Start with the foundations of the mix: some good quality carp pellets (Bloodworm), mixed with sweetcorn.
2. You want to remove as much soil as possible and replace it with either mulched boilies or the Bloodworm Pellets.
3. A common mistake Tom sees is anglers chopping and mixing up all their worms in one go. Make it up fresh as you go.
4. Finally, to complete the mix, Tom adds a good glug of his chosen foodbait liquid: in this case a splash of Krill Liquid.
