Total lockdown
Reduce the chance of losing your rod to zero with the year’s fastest selling back rest - the Bank BUG Rock Steady Back Rest System...
At the beginning of the year, Bank Bug had no idea that their 18-months-in-the-making Rock Steady Back Rest System would become one of the fastest selling products for 2015. But it has. And now it’s the go-to rod-locking system which everyone’s using. From Rainbow Lake and Raduta to Wraysbury 1 and Redmire Pool, this two-part system eradicates any rod movement in any direction.
Unlike previous locking butt rests which we’ve trialled over the years, this model not only does a sterling job of preventing your beloved piece of carbon from being pulled in, but it also looks the part, and better still, it can be used on any rod handle, from full duplon and abbreviated and onto corks.
Rock Steady is a two-part system. Part one is the Locking Boss and this attaches to the rod butt (you can position it anywhere along the butt section) using the two provided ‘O’ rings. Part two is the Locking Point and this simply screws into your bankstick/buzzer bar. When a take occurs, the rod is held firm, but the moment you lift the two sections simply come apart, leaving you in complete control.
The fact it’s light, compact, neat and does the job in hand bloody well is testimony to why it’s selling faster than iPhone 6’s right now. Good work, chaps, bloody good work.
