Your choices when it comes to boiled foods aren’t limited: there’s hundreds, and more seemingly popping up everyday. Urban Baits’s Nutcracker boilie has been ripping venues apart for the past few years and subsequently the range of condiments has grown into what you see before you now… urbanbait.co.uk

Two things are certain this winter. One is that you’ll overindulge at Christmas, and the second is that Urban Bait’s Nutcracker will tear up a lake near you!

Its make-up assures both attraction and that all-important digestion, even in cold water. That’s the trick you see – give them a bait that they can digest easily and they can eat more of it, more often… which looks good for your chances!

The bait is built from nut meals (hence the name), milk proteins (a winter staple since the 1970’s) and cereals (think easy digestion and great flavour leakage), which give it a lovely buff colour and distinctive attractor profile. We especially like the 12mm versions which will make the carp work that little bit harder for their fill, upping your chance of tripping one up!
As well as the freezer bait, the Nutcracker range also includes 12 and 15mm washed-out pop-ups in pink and yellow, neat flavour, dip, pellets and paste, all of which are perfect for winter use. Wrapping hookbaits in paste in particular increases the flavour and attractor leakage in cold water, a little edge that can buy a quicker bite.

The washed-out pop-ups are subtle and we love the idea of presenting a flavour-boosted twelve-miller over the top of some 12mm freebies and the mouthwatering 2mm pellets this winter! urbanbait.co.uk
