New for summer 2021, Subsonik is designed to be a low-stretch, high-strength mono with a smooth, supple finish. Across the range it’s also incredibly thin for its breaking strains, making it quite the all-round package for the modern carper. Available in Green, Brown and Camo colours and in breaking strains of 12lb, 15lb, 18lb, 22lb and 25lb. The heaviest line comes with a stated diameter of just 0.41mm, which is thin for its strength. At the lightest end of the scale, Sonik say the 12lb version measures just 0.28mm across.

The standard spool size is 1,200m, which is ideal for filling up a trio of big-pit reels, but you can also save money and buy a massive 3,000m bulk spool in all breaking strains and colours. Of course, if you win our competition you won’t need to buy anything at all!
